Segurança Alimentar na Pandemia: Lições Aprendidas e Desafios para a Assistência Nutricional

Synopsis:

Among the effects of COVID-19, the worsening of food insecurity in Brazil stands out, with even more severe consequences for families with children and adolescents. To discuss the impacts of the pandemic on the population’s nutrition and the recent experiences of governmental and non-governmental organizations in the field of food assistance, the Poverty and Nutrition Research Group of the Institute of Advanced Studies at USP will host the webinar: “Food Security During the Pandemic: Lessons Learned and Challenges for Nutritional Assistance.” This will be the theme of the XII Seminar on Service, Research, and Public Policy, which will address the pandemic’s impacts on (in)security food.
