OVERCOMING MALNUTRITION COLLECTION

The Overcoming Malnutrition collection was born of CREN’s work with malnourished children and their families. The content provides a comprehensive overview of the problems and solutions to eradicate malnutrition and consequently, poverty. It is an excellent tool for health and education professionals and provides clarification for families.

In total, more than 50,000 collections (including in Spanish and French) and 3 million leaflets were distributed throughout Brazil, Haiti and Peru. In 2006, UNICEF, in recognition of this work, awarded CREN and nominated the NGO as a national reference for the treatment and prevention of child malnutrition.
