Belgium´s Queen

31 jan Gisela Solymos meets Belgium´s Queen in Economic Forum

On 22nd January, a meeting of the entities supported by the Schwab Foundation took place at the World Economic Forum in the presence of Belgium´s Queen, Mathilde. Among the participants of the event was our General Manager, Gisela Solymos.

The event, which was promoted by Schwab Foundation, made it possible for social entrepreneurs to demonstrate the work that each one develops in their respective countries. This opportunity for Gisela was very rewarding as Queen Mathilde showed much interest in our work at the Centre for Nutritional Recovery and Education.

Gisela attended this meeting as a result of being the winner of the Social Entrepreneur Award sponsored by the newspaper Folha de São Paulo and the Schwab Foundation, in 2011. The award was in recognition of the work CREN carries out to combat malnutrition which over the past 21 years has benefited over 2 million people.
